Hello beautiful, 

 

My name is Jarrah, I am a solo Mother of the most perfect little girl, Certified Pregnancy Massage Therapist and owner of JARRAH ELLEN DOULA, based in the inner-west of Melbourne, VIC. 

 

Pregnancy massage is such a beautiful and rejuvenating experience, allowing you to connect with your baby, slow down to be nurtured, and thanking your incredible body.  There is a reason why women were chosen to be the portals to life, and we all deserve to feel like the goddess we are. Holding space for women is the second most magical thing I’ve done in my life, next to mothering Reign.

 

I had my baby in 2021, during Melbourne’s lockdowns and mandates which made my transformation into motherhood a confusing and lonely time. It allowed me to question and research everything about the system, leading me to learning about alternative & holistic health and all things woo-woo. This changed my whole view on pregnancy, birth & health in general and what’s really important to me as I raise my baby girl.

 

As a single mother I prioritise gentle, respectful & attachment parenting, bedsharing and breastfeeding over everything. Growing up in the country town of Echuca, VIC, gave me my easy-going nature and love for the outdoors. We love nothing more than our backyard BBQ’s, getting out in nature & living simply with our village, that we are eternally grateful for. 

 

I believe as Women and Mother’s we all intuitively know what birth feels right for us and need non-judgemental support, evidence-based information and a loving understanding to carry, birth and raise our babies. Witnessing women birthing their babies into the world is truly an honour. Birth is transformative, sacred and everything I love. I am truly in awe of Women, we are powerful!

 

As my client you are my priority, I will always hear you, respect you and ensure you feel safe and loved in my care. You’ve got this Mama, you come from a long line of women who trusted their intuition, their body and their baby.
